                  What is EYE? 
                  EYE is the second largest event in the Episcopal Church and the single largest youth event, typically attended by some 1500 young people, adult sponsors, bishops, staff, and resource people.  EYE convenes every three years, so for most of you this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to gather with 1500 other young Episcopalians.

                  Who gets to go?
                  Students interested in attending as a delegates should:
                     1)  Have participated in at least one
                          prior Diocesan Youth Event
                     2)  Have applied by set deadlines
                     3)  Have been endorsed by their
                           Parish Priest
                  Adults interested in attending as chaperones should:
                     1) Express your interest to Teri
                     2) be older than 23
                     3) be approved by their Parish Priest
                     4) be Safe Church Certified (less than 5 
                          years since your last certification)
                     5) AND be willing to get a background
                         check  per request of the EYE organizers

                  To the left is the group we took to the 2008 Episcopal Youth Event in San Antonio, TX = the largest delegation the Diocese of Delaware has ever sent!!
